29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. 1) Heritage Height Baptist Church, Carrollton, GA: On or about January 25, 2017, employees were conducting framing work on a commercial building, without fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard approximately 15 feet high and 10 feet from the peak of the roof on a 6 in 12 slope. The R.W. Hembree Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 529326, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order September 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1759 Carrollton Villa Rica Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180.
