29 CFR 1926.300(b)(7): The distance between the wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue or the end of the peripheral member at the top exceeded 1/4 inch (0.635 cm): A.) Nathan Contracting, L.P., 120 West 9th Street, Erie, PA 16501, basement parking deck, on or about January 26, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees were utilizing a Delta 8-inch bench top grinder (Cat. No. 23-197, S/N: 16J 037993 2016 42 AL) to perform work tasks including, but not limited to, sharpening jackhammer bits. The tongue guard on the grinder was adjusted to 13/16 of an inch from the stone wheel on the left side. B.) Nathan Contracting, L.P., 120 West 9th Street, Erie, PA 16501, basement parking deck, on or about January 26, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees were utilizing a Delta 8-inch bench top grinder (Cat. No. 23-197, S/N: 16J 037993 2016 42 AL) to perform work tasks including, but not limited to, sharpening jackhammer bits. The tongue guard on the grinder was adjusted to 5/8 of an inch from the stone wheel on the right side.

No. 23-197, S/N: 16J 037993 2016 42 AL) to perform work tasks including, but not limited to, sharpening jackhammer bits. The work rest on the left side of the grinder was adjusted to 3/8 of an inch from the stone wheel.
