29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition:    On or about January 27, 2017, employees were exposed to trip hazards while traveling through the grocery store back room in the following areas:    a)   The square drain plate cover located approximately in the south part of the grocery back room was not securely fasten to the floor.    b) Located approximately in the central  area of the grocery back room, the concrete floor surrounding the drain was sunken in.  There was no square drain plate  cover drain over this drain.     The employer did not ensure that floor was maintained in a safe condition.      Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c)  .

The employer failed to protect employees from shock hazards by not ensuring the electrical equipment was used in the proper manor.   Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29CFR 1903.19(c).
