29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:  a) Worksite: Employees were engaged in asbestos removal activities and were approaching the edge of the roof of the commercial building approximately 18 ft. above the ground without fall protection; on or about 1/19/17.  Note:  In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.   MICROTECH ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES CORPORATION was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 939151, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/24/13, with respect to a worksite located at 92-02 Atlantic Avenue in Woodhaven, NY.
