Flammable liquids such as acetone and APAC solvent cement were stored in the shop on pallets, counter tops, and on the floor in a quantity exceeding 120 gallons. This condition exposed employees to fire hazards.

Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers were not stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they were stable and secure against sliding or collapse: (a) Rocky Mountain Conveyor and Equipment Inc. at 6750 E 46th Ave Denver, CO: On or before 2/3/2017, the employer did not protect employees from hazards associated with falling bundles and pallets of material stacks and stored improperly on industrial shelving. Pallets were observed to be broken in some cases, providing an unstable surface for heavy materials being stored. Large bundles of conveyor carpet on pallets were extending more than a foot from the edge of the industrial shelving. The industrial shelving in the workshop was not secured to the floor. Employees were not protected from the hazards of falling objects.
