29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems:    (a) Jobsite, 1200 Swissvale Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA:  On or about February 21, 2017 employees engaged in steel erection activities were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning devices or fall restraint systems.   Employees were observed working at the edges of the roof structure with fall hazards ranging from 16-20 feet without fall protection systems in place.    The employer, Renninger Construction, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 998855, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 10, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Eden Park Boulevard, McKeesport, PA.
