29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. a- 134-136 Route 73 North, Voorhees NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 12 feet to the ground surface below when performing aluminum flashing installation and other related activities while working/walking from a roof with a pitch of approximately 3 on 12. Condition observed on or about 02/21/17. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) a- 134-136 Route 73 North, Voorhees NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 12 feet to the ground surface below when performing aluminum flashing installation and other related activities while working/walking from a roof with a pitch of approximately 3 on 12. Several of the exposed employees had not received fall protection training by a qualified competent person on the day of/prior to the worksite inspection. Condition noted on or about 02/21/17. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
