29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: (a) Bear Electric Inc., at 2301 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80205: On February 23, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees used eye and face protective equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury. Employees used power screw drivers to install junction boxes, used drywall saws to cut drywall, and performed overhead operations to install wiring. Employees did not wear eye protection during such operations. This condition exposed employees to flying particle hazards.
