29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Employee(s) engaged in a steel erection activity on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level were not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems: a) 1235 West Chestnut Street, Union, NJ 07083. Employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 18 foot, 6 inches from the corrugated steel deck to the concrete floor below while installing new decking with no fall protection systems in place. Occurred on 03/08/17.
