29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1)(ii)(a): A safety guard shall cover the spindle end, nut and flange projections. The safety guard shall be mounted so as to maintain proper alignment with the wheel, and the strength of the fastenings shall exceed the strength of the guard.  a) Welding area: 5110 Transport Blvd, Columbus GA 31907. On or about March 9th, 2017 and times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and amputation hazards while using a 7 inch abrasive wheel on a DeWalt Angle Grinder that did not have a safety guard installed on it.
