29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (Respirable Fraction) listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 5mg/m3: a) In the Sand & Paint Area, on or about March 23, 2017 - An employee, designated as a Sander, was exposed to Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (Respirable Fraction) to an airborne concentration of 12.05 milligrams per cubic meter. This is approximately 2.40 times in excess of the permissible exposure limit of 5 milligrams per cubic meter. Sampling was conducted for 321 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for 159 minutes. b) In the Sand & Paint Area, on or about March 23, 2017 - An employee, designated as a Sander, was exposed to Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (Respirable Fraction) to an airborne concentration of 5.91 milligrams per cubic meter. This is approximately 1.18 times in excess of the permissible exposure limit of 5 milligrams per cubic meter. Sampling was conducted for 299 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for 181 minutes. Commodore Corporation dba Pennwest Homes was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 955201, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 25, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Pennwest Way Emlenton, PA 16373.
