29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) Aguilar Roofing at 1700 S. Mexico Wy., Denver, CO 80224: On March 15, 2017 the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that several employees removing shingles from both the first and second level roof of a two-story residential home, with a roof pitch of approximately 5-in-12, were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employees fall hazards ranging from 18 to 10 feet. (b) Aguilar Roofing at 1700 S. Mexico Wy., Denver, CO 80224: On March 15, 2017 the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that one employee installing felt underlayment on the second level roof of a two-story residential home, with a roof pitch of approximately 5-in-12, was not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazards ranging from 18 to 10 feet.
