29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were being placed in services after the examination showed condition(s) adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle: On or about March 16, 2017, and at times prior thereto: a. In the wharf area of the facility where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a Toyota brand forklift (Forklift #16) that was not taken out of service after forklift inspections showed conditions that adversely affected the safe operation of the vehicle. b. In the wharf area of the facility where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a Toyota brand forklift (Forklift #17) that was not taken out of service after forklift inspections showed conditions that adversely affected the safe operation of the vehicle. c. In the wharf area of the facility where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a Toyota brand forklift (Forklift #19) that was not taken out of service after forklift inspections showed conditions that adversely affected the safe operation of the vehicle.
