29 CFR 1910.138(b): Employers did not base the selection of the appropriate hand protection on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the hand protection relative to the task(s) performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the hazards and the potential hazards identified: On or about April 5, 2017 operator(s) were exposed to being struck and burned by flying sparks from welding operations on but not limited to the G-05 welder and the G-07 welder. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
