29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): At the location of 13800 Metcalf Ave, in Overland Park KS., an employee engaged in material handing activities with the use of a JLG Forklift (G6-42A), and employees working near the operating JLG forklift, were exposed to struck-by hazards in that comprehensive forklift training had not been provided prior to operation.
