29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   a)  At 954 Falconer Drive, Auburn, Alabama:  On or about April 11, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to operate a pneumatic nail gun without using fall protection exposing the employee to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At 954 Falconer Drive, Auburn, Alabama:  On or about April 11, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to walk the tops of framed walls without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9.5 feet to the ground below.   THE GLZ  AND SON CONSTRUCTION, LLC  WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1215638 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 7, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 802 W RICHLAND RD., LOT 1, AUBURN,ALABAMA AND IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 969130 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 10, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 15 & 16, 1673 EASTON CT., AUBURN ALABAMA.
