29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Press Brake Area, on or about 4/18/17: A power strip next to the Amada 6 foot press brake was being used as permanent wiring and was daisy chained to another power strip to power a TPI fan and portable tools. b) Laser Area, on or about 4/18/17: An extension cord providing current to a power strip to power computer equipment was strung along the floor and was being used as permanent wiring. c) Timesaver Area, on or about 4/18/17: A power strip, near the Apex timesaver, with a Lasko fan plugged in was being used as permanent wiring. Abatement certification must be submitted for these items.
