29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: Recycling Dock: Breaker panels, such as but not limited to those for the dock leveler and compactor panels, were blocked by recycling and garbage bins. Employees were exposed to electrical and/or caught-in hazards from not being able to access the panels for maintenance or emergency purposes. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i)] which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1049855, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 23, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1675 7th Street, Oakland, California 94615. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)] which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1020342, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 16, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 337 West Clark Street, Eureka, California 95501. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1186652, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on December 13, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 28201 Franklin Parkway, Santa Clarita, California 91383.
