29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Steel Welding Area, on or about 4/20/17: Baldor belt sander was not equipped with guarding at the nip points where the belt and roller meet. b) Frame Welding Area, on or about, 4/20/17: Baldor belt sander was not equipped with guarding at the nip points where the belt and roller meet. c) Frame Welding Area, on or about 4/20/17: Powermatic drill press was not equipped with a guard to prevent contact with the rotating chuck and tool. d) Sawing Area, on or about 4/20/17: Kalamazoo belt sander was not equipped with guarding at the nip points where the belt and roller meet. e) Sawing Area, on or about 4/20/17: Linley milling machine was not equipped with a guard to prevent contact with the rotating chuck and tool. f) Sawing Area, on or about 4/20/17: Dayton multi-drill press was not equipped with guarding to prevent contact with the rotating chucks and tooling. g) Machine Shop, on or about 4/20/17: Clark Milling machine was not equipped with a guard to prevent contact with rotating chuck and tool. h) Machine Shop, on or about 4/20/17: SKB lathe was not equipped with a guard to prevent contact with the rotating chuck. i) Final Assembly, on or about 4/20/17: S.
