29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: a) 25 East Main St, Richland - Garage Rooftop, PA: Employees were observed performing roofing activity on a 5/12 pitch roof without a conventional fall protection or an alternative system in place, thereby exposing employees to a fall of at least ten feet to the ground below, on or about April 24, 2017. Abatement documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date, and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. White's Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1141421, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 25, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 623 Furnace Road, Wernersville, PA. White's Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1011606, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2210 Ridge Wood Road, Wyomissing, PA.
