29 CFR 1926.602(a)(9)(i): Bidirectional machine(s) were not equipped with an operable horn, distinguishable from the surrounding noise level, which could be operated as needed when the machine is moving in either direction: New residential construction site: On or about April 21, 2017, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a struck-by hazards when skid-steer model S185 and Bobcat model 331 were utilized to move gravel in and around the trenches, that did not have working back up alarms or horns.
