Employees operated the Jet Dill Press (JET Milling/Drilling Machine, Model JMD-18) to drill holes into cultured marble products, which was not guarded, on or about 03/25/17.

29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer failed to report the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, within (24) twenty-four hours Mincey Marble Manufacturing, Inc. 4321 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA - On March 25, 2017, an employee's right middle finger was amputated on a drill press. The employer did not notify OSHA of the amputation within 24 hours, on or about April 14, 2017. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
