29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds more than 10 feet above a lower level:  a) Elevator Tower - A laborer was standing on a scaffold work platform between 32 feet, 6 inches and 19 feet, 6 inches above the ground while placing tubular welded frames scaffold frames onto the fork of a Pettibone powered industrial truck during a dismantling operation and the competent person did not determine the feasibility of providing and using fall protection, on or about 04/20/2017 .  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
