29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The guard for an abrasive wheel machine where the operator stands in front of the machine was not constructed so that the peripheral protecting member could be adjusted to the constantly decreasing diameter of the wheel:    (a) On or about April 27, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees in the shop area to struck-by hazards due to the Dayton 8" bench grinder missing a tongue guard on the grinder wheel.    (b) On or about April 27, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees in the shop area to struck-by hazards due to the Westward 6" bench grinder tongue guard exceeding one fourth inch.
