29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 11 Meadowview Court, Lewisburg, PA - Employees on the roof of a residence who were engaged in roofing work were not protected from falling and were exposed to a fall hazard between seven feet (7') and twelve feet (12') above ground level, as observed on or about May 1, 2017. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Rodger's Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1109675, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/19/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 458 Market Street, Bloomsburg, PA.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 11 Meadowview Court, Lewisburg, PA - The side rails of an extension ladder used by employees to access the roof of a structure did not extended at least 3 feet above the roof edge exposing the employees to a nine-foot (9') fall hazard, as observed on or about May 1, 2017. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Rodger's Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1109675, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/19/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 458 Market Street, Bloomsburg, PA.
