29 CFR 1926.850(a): Evidence in writing was not available that an engineering survey performed by a competent person had been performed prior to permitting employee(s) to start demolition operations. a) 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Floors, 8 West Market Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA - The lack of an engineering survey exposed employees that removed the interior walls, drop ceilings, and steam radiators to struck-by and caught-under hazards due to the unknown condition of the framing, floors, ceiling, and walls or to the possibility of an unplanned collapse, on or about May 5, 2017.
