29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) On or about May 9, 2017, and at times prior, employees did not have adequate means to flush eyes for 15 minutes for potential exposure to Sur Fin brand Rusty/Red acidic mixture of metal finishing chemicals with a pH of less than 1.0. Exposure to corrosive chemicals in Rusty/Red may cause severe eye damage and severe skin burns. (b) On or about May 9, 2017, and at times prior, employees did not have adequate means to flush eyes for 15 minutes for potential exposure to Triple S Chemical Products brand Black F-1401 acidic mixture of metal finishing chemicals with a pH of approximately 1.0.
