29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that posed a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations and protection was not provided by placing and keeping such materials or equipment at least 2 feet from the edge of excavations: a) 2706 Glen Drive Wilmington, DE: On or about March 29, 2017, the employer failed to ensure that the spoil pile which contained large pieces of asphalt, was placed and kept at least two feet from the edge of the trench, exposing employees to struck-by hazards in the event of a collapse.
