The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1915.159(b)(7): Personal fall arrest systems were not rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: 1401 Precon Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320: On or about May 30, 2017, and times prior thereto, two employees that performed work on top of a barge section with an approximately 13'6" fall distance from the top of a 12' barge to lower level, used 3M 11' and Miller MP20G 20' self-retracting lanyards and an MSA 6' expandable lanyard, rigged to a pad eye at foot level such that the employees could free fall greater than 6 feet and contact a lower level. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
