29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Located along various areas of the residential structure an employees was observed performing roof deck sheeting on the front 6 in 12 roof deck without conventional fall protection or equivalent, exposed to perimeter exterior unprotected side or edge fall hazards in excess of 9 feet and framing work within upper truss areas without conventional fall protection or equivalent and interior fall hazards from the upper cord of the truss in excess of 10 feet.
