29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: Employees working in the recurring maintenance shop were exposed to fire and explosion hazards in that: a) The name of the gas to be stored was not posted in any of the cylinder storage areas. b) Compressed gas cylinders were being stored with flammable liquids outside the southeast wall of the building.

29 CFR 1910.124(g)(2): Employees who worked with liquids that could burn, irritate, or otherwise harm their skin were not provided with an emergency shower and eye-wash station close to the dipping and coating operation: Employees working with or near the southwest corner of the building were exposed to tearing, swelling, corneal damage, and blindness of the eyes in that a an eye-wash station was not provided.
