29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. a. 1 Oakwood Ave., Edison, NJ - All sides of the building The controlling employer did not ensure employees and sub-contractor employees engaged in the removal and installation of windows were protected from falls from open wall holes. Sub-contractor employees were observed working in areas where the bottom edge of the wall openings were approximately 30 inches and a top rail was not installed in the windows. Violation observed on or about June 19, 2017
