29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l) prior to the operation of the powered industrial truck. a) 1673 NY 17M, Goshen, NY - On or about 6/28/2017, employees engaged in warehouse activities were exposed to various hazards due to forklift operators being untrained in the operation of the forklifts. Daily exposures occurred prior to the training conducted on 6/26/2017.
