29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) On or about June 27, 2017, Danielle Construction, LLC., as the controller employer, did not ensure that each employee of a subcontractor engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by using a fall protection system. Employees of MT Construction, a subcontractor, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet while installing plywood sheathing on the subfloor of a residential building with no fall protection system in place to prevent employees from falling down to the basement floor. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
