Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   a) J A Construction, LLC, at 5310 E 129th Ave, Thornton, CO 80023:  On and before July 6th, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees working on a steep-pitched roof, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, were protected from fall hazards.  Employees were shingling the steep-pitched roof of a two-story single family residence without fall protection.  This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of up to approximately 18 feet.
