29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: At a worksite located at 4112 Adams Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64014, employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to work from scaffolds greater than 10 feet above the next lower level without the use of fall protection. Instances of exposure include but are not limited to: 1. Two employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 10 feet while working from the scaffold attached to the rear of the structure. 2. One employee was exposed to fall hazards greater than 10 feet while working from the scaffold attached to the interior of the structure.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: At a worksite located at 4112 Adams Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64014, employees were exposed to eye injury hazards from dust, debris and other foreign object material. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize an electrical circular saw without the use of eye protection. J & A Construction LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1724169, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/06/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 3101 NW Berkebile Lane in Lee's Summit, MO.
