29 CFR 1910.134(d)(3)(iii)(B)(2): The employer did not implement a change schedule for respirators not equipped with an End of Service Life Indicator ESLI that would ensure cartridges were changed before the end of their service life:       (a) On or about 07/17/2017, at facility , for the painter wearing 3M half-face respirator with organic vapor cartridges during prepping and priming and the bodyman wearing 3M half-face respirator with P100 cartridges.  The employees were not provided a cartridge changeout schedule prior to being required to wear the respirators.

29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A):  The employer permitted respirators with tight-fitting facepieces to be worn by employees who have facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face:      (a) On or about 07/17/2017, at facility, for the painter with facial hair wearing 3M half-face respirator with organic vapor cartridges during prepping and priming and the bodyman with facial hair wearing 3M half-face respirator with P100 cartridges.  The employer did not implement procedure to prevent facial hair on respirator users.

29 CFR 1910.134(i)(7): Oil-lubricated compressor(s) were used to supply breathing air with only high-temperature alarm(s) and the air supply was not monitored at intervals sufficient to prevent carbon monoxide in the breathing air from exceeding 10 ppm:     (a) On and before 7/17/2017, at facility, for the painters required to wear a sata supplied air system while spraypainting cars were supplied air from a compressor not monitored for carbon monoxide levels and equipped with only a high temperature alarm.  The employer did not install an inline carbon monoxide detector.
