29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program which at included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): a.) Momentum Builders, Inc., 100 Campus Drive (J. Howard Pew Fine Arts Center Grove City College), Grove City, PA, on or about July 12th 2017, and times prior thereto: Employees were working with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, Carlisle brand Sure Seal Lap Sealant, and Carlisle brand Low VOC bonding adhesive. The employers Hazard Communication program was missing information that included, but was not limited to, the following: 1) The method employees can use to obtain access to electronic Safety Data Sheets (SDS) at the worksite and; 2) The back-up system to be used to obtain Safety Data Sheets in the event of a failure to the electronic equipment utilized to obtain SDS at the job site. 3) How training will be conducted with employees (e.g., written, visual presentation using slides, verbal, etc.)

Momentum Builders, Inc., 100 Campus Drive (J. Howard Pew Fine Arts Center Grove City College), Grove City, PA, on or about July 12th 2017, and times prior thereto: Employees were working with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, Carlisle brand Sure Seal Lap Sealant, and Carlisle brand Low VOC bonding adhesive. Some employees were not aware of the physical and health hazards associated with the Sure Seal Lap Sealant and Carlisle brand Low VOC bonding adhesive.
