OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crush hazards: a) Production Floor; On or about July 12, 2017 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to struck-by and crush hazards in that employees were required to use a 10 ton capacity below-the-hook lifting device in excess of its rated load. Employees were unloading and moving steel coils that weighed in excess of 10 tons.
