29 CFR 1926.1101(d)(5): As supervisor of the entire project, the general contractor did not ascertain whether the asbestos contractor was in compliance with the asbestos standard, and did not require such contractor to come into compliance with this standard: a) Lafayette High School, classroom 333 - On or about 07/11/2017, the general contractor did not ascertain whether the subcontractor was in compliance with the asbestos standard, and did not require such contractor to come into compliance with this standard including but not limited to the lack of exposure monitoring; engineering and workpractice controls; and PPE when the employer, Iroquois Bar Corp., performed Class II asbestos work removing 12" x 12" floor tile containing approximately 2% chrysotile asbestos. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
