29 CFR 1926.851(b): All stairs, passageways, ladders and incidental equipment thereto, which are covered by this section, were not periodically inspected and maintained in a clean and safe condition:   a) On or about 08/15/19, on the first, second & third floors on the Building Renovation Construction Site, 243 Sears St., Buffalo, NY:  Portions of many brick walls between rooms had been demolished leaving a rectangular hole in the wall, and creating a passageway between adjacent rooms.  In these passageways, there was a rectangular depression in the floor with typical dimensions of approx.  18 in. wide x 58 in. long x 4 to 6 1/2 in. deep. These depressions created a tripping hazard and most were not covered nor properly barricaded to keep employees from using the passageways.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
