29 CFR 1910.268(c): The employer did not prepare employee training certification records which included the identity of the person trained, the signature of the employer or the person who conducted the training, and the date the training was completed. The employer did not provide training in the various precautions and safe practices described in (1) through (3) of this section and did not ensure that employees did not engage in the activities to which this section applies until such employees have received proper training in the various precautions and safe practices required by this section:    (a) On or about July 11, 2017, and at times prior, Compass Communications, LLC., did not prepare employee training certification records and did not ensure that training was provided in the various precautions and safe practices of this section prior to employees engaging in activities to which this section applies, such as but not limited to:      (i) Procedures to be followed in emergency situations.     (ii) First aid training, including instruction in artificial respiration.     (iii) Personal climbing equipment such as body belts, safety straps, and lanyards.     (iv) Other personal protective equipment such as head protection meeting the requirements of ANSI Z89.2 - 1971.     (v) Methods for testing wood poles.     (vi) Safe procedures while working around energized power conductors.       Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
