Location: 362 Summit Ave., Jersey City, NJ. a) Employer was pouring concrete on the 3rd floor and did not provide toeboards for the guardrail systems that were erected at the unprotected edges thereby exposing employees walking/working below to overhead/struck by hazards from falling objects; on or about 6/14/17.

29 CFR 1926.702(h): Bull float handles, used where they might contact energized electrical conductors, were not constructed of nonconductive material or insulated with a nonconductive sheath whose electrical and mechanical characteristics provided the equal protection. Location: 362 Summit St., Jersey City, NJ. a) A worker struck a 24 KV power line while concrete floating from the 3rd Floor with a bull float handle that was 15 ft. long. The employer permitted the use of a bull float near an electrical power line that was not constructed of nonconductive material or insulated; on or about 6/14/17.
