29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. On July 17, 2017, an employee was hospitalized for work related injuries sustained in a fall in excess of 16 feet while involved in metal roof sheeting removal exposed to unprotected sides or edges without conventional fall protection located at 3210 Marshall Dr. Amelia, OH 45102 construction worksite, in which the employer failed to report the in-patient hospitalization within 24 hours.
