29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) 554 Waterworks Road, Old Bridge, NJ Employees working near the Zinc Sulfate bagging operation were exposed to amputation hazards from the rotating parts of the rotary air valve which was not equipped with an adequate guard. This hazard was observed on 7/20/17.
