29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Flexible cords and cables were used where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors:  In the copy room the cord of the SEM #221 shredder was run through a hold drilled through the wall and connected to a duplex outlet located in the IT room.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees did not have to travel toward a high hazard area, unless the path of travel was effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers:  In the path of travel and in the driveway near the southeast corner of the building a tripping hazard existed in that a crack was in the surface 2 inches wide, 3 inches deep, and app 10 feet long.  The path of travel was not shielded from the crack.   The Department of Agriculture-FSA was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1248354 Notice number 1 item 2 and was confirmed as a final order on 8/18/2017 with respect to a workplace located at 1019 4th ST. SE, Hampton Iowa 50441.

The Department of Agriculture-FSA was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1220587 Notice number 1 item 1 and was confirmed as a final order on 5/24/2017 with respect to a workplace located at 605 East State St., Suite 1, Algona, IA 50511
