29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): On or about: 7/5/2017 LOCATION: ground floor ironing area a) The infeed point of operation on equipment such as Flatwork ironer #1 (Lavatec, S/N: 80332) and Flatwork ironer #2 (Braun, S/N:2T321192394) was not guarded by a properly working hinge trip guard. As a result, the fingers and hands of employees who operate such equipment were exposed to a caught-in & pinch point hazard.
