Employees worked near tanks from which corrosive chemicals such as Bildex Concentrated Laundry Builder (20-50% sodium hydroxide) and Sour RR Laundry Neutralizer (ammonium hydrogen difluoride, fluorosilicic acid) from tanks, etc. were being pumped from tanks through flexible hose line connections and into washing machines.
