29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about July 21 2017, employees were exposed to falling more than 10 feet to ground level over a parapet wall in which the inside bottom edge of the wall was 34 inches above walking/working surface. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
