29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the residential construction site located at Lot 114 SW Blackstone Place. in Lee's Summit, Missouri: Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to injury/illness from dermal, ingestion, and inhalation hazards from exposure to hazardous chemicals. Employees had not been provided with training or information regarding the hazardous chemicals with which they work. Hazardous chemicals such as Grip Rite Subfloor Construction Adhesive were used at the residential construction site.

Employees engaged in framing activities, using a pneumatic nail gun, were exposed to struck-by hazards in that eye protection was not provided.
